Massage Therapy is a manual, soft tissue therapy developed to provide relief for a variety of health conditions or problems, including:

What is a Registered Massage Therapist?

Registered Massage Therapy, or RMT, is a specialized field of healthcare in which practitioners must graduate from an accredited post secondary institution. Registered Massage Therapists are required to have accumulated over 2200 hours of training and passed a rigorous provincial testing standard before becoming "Registered". They must also be members of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, an independent body which regulates the performance of all Registered Massage Therapists. Registered Massage Therapists are the true experts in their field and are licensed under the same laws in Ontario as Physicians, Registered Nurses and Physiotherapists.

Most insurance plans will only re-imburse treatments provided by a Registered Massage Therapist.
